Palette+ Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 13, 2026

Overview

Palette+ does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. This policy explains how the app handles your color library, selected photos, keyboard input, account information, and purchase records.

Colors and iCloud

Saved HEX values, optional color names, palette names, organization, ordering, and sync changes are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this library is stored in your Apple CloudKit private database and is available to devices using the same Apple Account.

Photos are processed only to sample colors. Palette+ does not store or sync the photo itself after sampling, including photos received through the share extension.

Keyboard and clipboard

The Palette+ keyboard reads saved colors from the app's shared local container and inserts the HEX or RGB code you select. It does not store or transmit what you type. It may inspect the text immediately before the cursor only to determine the appropriate deletion range.

When you choose Copy or use the Mac insertion feature, the selected color code is written to the system clipboard and may remain there according to your device settings.

Account and purchases

To share purchase access between iPhone and Mac, Palette+ may store your Sign in with Apple identifier, authentication session, product and transaction identifiers, and purchase or refund status. The app does not request your name or email address from Apple.

The purchase service uses Cloudflare Workers and D1. Rate limiting temporarily keeps a time-bounded hash derived from the connecting IP address; the raw IP address is not stored in the Palette+ purchase database.

Web checkout is provided by Lemon Squeezy. The payment provider handles email, payment, and tax information under its own privacy terms. Palette+ does not receive your card number.

Deletion

You can delete colors and palettes in the app. Account deletion removes the Palette+ server account, sessions, and linked purchase records and revokes the Apple authentication token. It does not remove colors stored locally or in your private iCloud database, and it is not a refund request.

Apple, Cloudflare, and Lemon Squeezy may retain service or transaction records according to their own legal and operational policies.
